JDM's 2021 Highlights

2021 proved to be a big year for us at Jordan Digital Marketing. We grew in so many ways; from our client roster, to the platforms we manage, to our team size. When the pandemic hit in 2020, we focused on laying the foundation that allowed us to build in 2021. We saw clients scaling advertising budgets and growing exponentially, and even had clients return after pausing operations due to COVID.

Here’s a look into what made 2021 such a great year for JDM.

Client Success

We had a lot going on this year to help our clients reach their goals and be successful. Here are some highlights we’re proud to share:

  • Several of our clients acquired Series A, B and C funding, raising over $1.2 billion.
  • 2 clients reached unicorn status with valuations of $1 billion or more.
  • 3 of our clients went public.
  • We helped 5 clients launch new websites or migrations.
  • We managed 19 different paid media platforms for clients including Google, Facebook, Apple Search Ads, Capterra, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, and StackAdapt.

Team Growth

The JDM team more than doubled in 2021, increasing by 86 percent!

We added 11 new members to the Paid Media team, and 4 to the SEO team. We also hired our first People Operations and Talent Acquisition team members.

As our team grew, so did our company's footprint. At the beginning of 2021, we had employees in 4 states. By the end of the year, we had employees in 15 states, spanning 4 time zones. You can find JDM team members in California, Arizona, Utah, Texas, Alabama, Vermont, and Florida to name a few.

We’re proud to elevate employees from within as they level up their knowledge, skills, and responsibilities. Of those who were on the team going into 2021, we were excited to celebrate the promotions of 42% of our team this year.

Company Fun & Events

Not only did our company grow, but our families did too. We celebrated 2 weddings and welcomed 3 new babies.JDM's winning dish of the Chopped competition: spaghetti with a garlic, spinach, and parsley sauce topped with toasted pine nuts; paired with seared chicken breast seasoned with salt & pepper; and a side salad of avocado, cherry tomatoes, olive oil, salt, and pepper.

In June, we spiced things up with a little friendly competition in our first JDM Chopped. Our chefs began with mystery box ingredients—avocados, pine nuts, chicken, and parsley—and whipped up their best food dish!

The winning dish was spaghetti with a garlic, spinach, and parsley sauce topped with toasted pine nuts; paired with seared chicken breast seasoned with salt & pepper; and a side salad of avocado, cherry tomatoes, olive oil, salt, and pepper.

Halloween is normally a spooky time of year, but we got cute with it during our Halloween Costume Contest. Everyone could enter their best costume for themselves, their pets, or their children.

Our first place winner was Korra the hot dog!

Due to COVID, the last time we were able to meet in person our team was small. We were fortunate to get to meet up this year in San Diego for JDM’s holiday party! For many of us, we were meeting in person for the first time. The night was filled with flavorful food, fun conversations, and fun games!

Looking Ahead

2021 was a stellar year for us filled with growth. We built out a lot of processes, grew our team, and, most importantly, helped our clients succeed. We’re already off to a hot start in 2022, and the stage is set for even more growth and expansion.
