Working remotely, like we do at JDM, doesn’t mean being disconnected from colleagues. As part of our culture-building initiative, and to introduce the digital marketing world to our awesome team members, we regularly peel back the curtain on the lives of JDMers. This week, we’ll get to know SEO Specialist Diana Molina!

New call-to-action

Name: Diana Molina

Position: SEO Specialist

Location: Managua, Nicaragua

When did you begin working at JDM?

I started in August 2025.

How did you know JDM was the right fit for you?

During my interview with Jhana (SEO Team Lead) and Sonja (Head of People Ops), I asked about company culture and work/life balance. Their thoughtful answers and the way they emphasized supporting that balance truly confirmed that JDM was the right fit for me.

What’s your favorite part of the workday?

The beginning of the day, when I organize my priorities, review my tasks, and build my to-do list while enjoying my first cup of coffee.

What’s the most gratifying part of working with your clients?

The most rewarding moment is presenting performance data and showing strong results after implementing our initiatives. Seeing clients genuinely satisfied with the impact of our work is easily the highlight.

In a remote company, how do you stay connected with your team?

We stay in constant communication, not just about projects, client insights, or SEO updates, but also through movie or series recommendations, and even random fun facts that keep the connection strong.

What three words would you use to describe the JDM culture?

Flexible, collaborative, and growth-oriented.

What's something you love about JDM?

As one of the international team members, I initially worried it might be difficult to connect, but it’s been the complete opposite. From day one, the team has made me feel included. Everyone’s voice is heard, and leadership genuinely values each person’s ideas and perspective.

Can you recall a time when JDM challenged you, and how we supported you through that time?

Some of our clients work in very technical industries, which can sometimes involve complex terms. In those situations, the AMs have been really supportive, helping me understand things better, answer questions, and work through challenges step by step.

What’s the best thing you’ve done with your unlimited PTO?

I haven’t used my unlimited PTO yet, but knowing I have that flexibility makes me excited to plan a trip very soon!

What's something you love about the marketing industry?

I love how fast the industry evolves. It constantly challenges you to stay current, adapt to new trends, and test new ideas.

What do you think has been the most interesting change in the marketing industry or in your channel this year?

Definitely AEO and how it complements SEO. It’s exciting to see new opportunities for optimizing content with large language models in mind, along with learning how to interpret data, craft effective prompts, and refine strategies accordingly.

What digital marketing platform, technology, or skill do you see gaining the most traction in the next 1-2 years, and why?

I think learning more about AEO, especially getting familiar with AI search features, prompts, and ways to optimize content for them, will get really critical. As search keeps changing, being able to adjust content for AI-driven results will likely be a valuable skill.

What's something you've implemented or tested, and what was the outcome?

A couple of weeks ago, I worked on a YouTube-linked blog post strategy for a client. We’re still in the data-collection phase, but it’s been really interesting to be part of.

What’s a project that you’ve worked on that you’ve really enjoyed?

I’m currently working on a Content Performance Tracker to measure results from optimizations we implemented a while ago. The results have been really positive, and I enjoy sharing those updates with clients and showing them how things are performing.

What are the names and ages of your kids (or furbabies)?
I have two dogs: Tuco, a two-and-a-half-year-old Beagle, and Linux, an almost nine-year-old Labrador. They’re my favorite coworkers when working remotely!
