Click Through Reads #14: Google RSA Updates and Self Service Hulu Ads

Hello Click-Through-Readers! I am reaching new depths to my quarantine entertainment. This week I finished re-watching the entire Harry Potter series and then moved on to the new Zac Efron documentary, Down to Earth. How many of you watched Down to Earth and then made the Sri Lankan Curry from Deliciously Ella? How many of you have zero clue what I am talking about? Google it. Eat it. So good even my Mid-Western husband finished his bowl of veggies! Speaking of shows, Hulu launched a new self-service ad platform this week that is currently in beta. I registered for it today and am waiting to hear back! We have the details for that, and some new added features for Google RSA ads all in this week’s news!

Let’s get to it!

Hulu Launches a Self-Serve Ad Platform: Hulu Ad Manager, currently in beta, allows small and medium sized businesses to run ads on Hulu. Historically, they had exorbitant minimums that catered to many of the top 200 brands in the US. Businesses can now run their ads on Hulu for a minimum of $500 a month.

The self-service tool allows advertisers that are whitelisted to easily run their 15-30 second ads with the ability to target users based on location, interest, program genre, and more. Advertisers can easily select start and end dates for their campaign, and see in real time how many impressions have served.
