When did you begin working at JDM?

September 2025.

 

How did you know JDM was the right fit for you?

I actually worked with Jhana way back in 2014. When she said JDM had an SEO Manger position, I knew I wanted to work alongside her. I came from CNET, which was very corporate, and I knew agency life was what I really enjoyed, so it was the perfect fit.

 

What’s your favorite part of the workday?

I’m a morning person, I can be really productive getting things done before our West Coast clients and coworkers log on.

 

What’s the most gratifying part of working with your clients?

Seeing the excitement of our clients when our strategies are successful.

 

In a remote company, how do you stay connected with your team?

Slack is an invaluable tool. I love how easy it is to reach out to team members or jump on a huddle.

 

What words would you use to describe the JDM culture?

Passionate and innovative.

 

What's something you love about JDM?

Work-life balance. I’ve worked in a super-strict corporate environment where it felt like I was chained to my desk. I never feel like that here.

 

Can you recall a time when JDM challenged you, and how we supported you through that time?

My first few clients were quite challenging. I was learning how to be a great Account Manager, but I never felt like I was doing it alone and always felt like I could ask for help.

 

What’s the best thing you’ve done with your unlimited PTO?

I haven’t taken much PTO yet but, my partner is a touring musician so I enjoy being able to meet him on the road. I’ve gotten to visit Argentina, Mexico City, and Italy with his bands, and this summer I think I’m going to tag along to the UK.

We’re also really big cycling fans, and my favorite holiday I’ve ever taken was a trip to follow the Tour De France.

What's something you love about the marketing industry?

I love how it’s always changing. Search engines and the way people use them are constantly evolving. I love understanding how people look for things on the internet and helping our clients meet their customers there.

 

What do you think has been the most interesting change in the marketing industry or in your channel this year?

In my free time I am a content creator/blogger, and I think the growth and fluctuations that channel has seen is so fascinating. It is very different from what it was when I started, but it’s so exciting to see its staying power as an important part of marketing.

 

What digital marketing platform, technology, or skill do you see gaining the most traction in the next 1-2 years, and why?

I think UGC and platforms like Reddit are only going to continue to gain traction. People are craving authenticity and community. Getting your brand out there in these conversations will be invaluable and can make a big difference in longevity.

 

What's something you've implemented or tested, and what was the outcome?

Recently, I’ve gotten to build out and implement strategies on Reddit. I’m not an avid Reddit user, so understanding the audience and how to reach them on that platform has been a really fun challenge.

 

What’s a project that you’ve worked on that you’ve really enjoyed?

I really like working with the Kahawai team on content for our clients. I love creating educational content that brings in new customers and builds a relationship and trust for our clients.

 

What are the names and ages of your kids (or furbabies)?

Because we travel a lot we don’t have any pets, but I love to dog-sit. For the last year and a half we were honored to have joint custody of Grogu the Auggie.
