5 Under-the-Radar ChatGPT Use Cases in Marketing

The race is on for marketers to find ways to use ChatGPT to give their campaigns a leg up.

Topics like keyword research and content writing have dominated the discourse so far, and there’s a general agreement that ChatGPT is best used when it can do a lot of block-and-tackle work that lets marketers spend more time on refinement and higher-level strategies.

New call-to-action

At JDM, we’ve used ChatGPT in a few less-discussed ways that have saved us plenty of hours and headspace that we’ve applied to more advanced initiatives. These include:

1. Metadata Generation

ChatGPT can be used to generate meta descriptions and titles for your website. These are the snippets of text that appear in search engine results and help search engines understand what your page is about. Strong title tags and meta descriptions have long been a key factor in search rankings.

2. Backlink Research

ChatGPT can be used to generate a list of relevant websites that may be interested in linking to your site. This can help you build high-quality backlinks, which can improve your search engine rankings.

3. Answers to Common Search Queries

You can use ChatGPT to make a chatbot that can answer the common queries of your visitors and help them to reach the desired page on your website. This will help to increase the time spent on your website and improve your site’s overall user engagement and experience.

4. Outreach Copywriting

ChatGPT can be used for influencer marketing – specifically, to generate messages for influencer outreach and to generate content for influencer collaborations.

5. Personalized Product Recommendations

ChatGPT can be used to generate personalized product recommendations for customers based on their browsing and purchase history.
