Sydney Suttles - JDM Impressions

Written by Jordan Digital Marketing | Jan 16, 2026 3:30:00 PM

Working remotely, like we do at JDM, doesn’t mean being disconnected from colleagues. As part of our culture-building initiative, and to introduce the digital marketing world to our awesome team members, we regularly peel back the curtain on the lives of JDMers. This week, we’ll get to know Performance Marketing Manager Sydney Suttles!

Name: Sydney Suttles

Position: Performance Marketing Manager

Location: London, UK (for now); from Kansas City, MO

When did you begin working at JDM?

July 2025

How did you know JDM was the right fit for you?

The people I interviewed with love the company and have all been here 3+ years which was such a good sign. I also knew JDM would be a great fit since I was looking for a remote company that also had a real culture and fun people to work with.

What’s your favorite part of the workday?

When I enter a flow state of campaign strategy or optimizations. I love building audiences for a new campaign and figuring out how the current structure will fit and they can all support each other.

What’s the most gratifying part of working with your clients?

The feeling after a good client call where you’ve solved a problem or challenge and are making progress.

In a remote company, how do you stay connected with your team?

Actively messaging coworkers, engaging in internal calls, and participate in fun Slack channels

What’s the best thing you’ve done with your unlimited PTO?

Amsterdam, Brussels, Prague, Hamburg, London, Edinburgh, Luxembourg. 🤪 (I guess this has to do more with flexible location working than unlimited PTO.) I’ve been living in Europe and working US hours and then using PTO for weekend trips, which has been incredible. I’m very lucky and grateful for this benefit at JDM!

What's something you love about the marketing industry?

You’re never bored and there’s always something to learn! If you don’t like a feature or layout of a platform, it will likely change pretty soon.

What digital marketing platform, technology, or skill do you see gaining the most traction in the next 1-2 years, and why?

I think TikTok and Pinterest will continue to grow for both users and advertisers. TikTok has had great growth that I don’t see stopping, and Pinterest is having somewhat of a resurgence.

What’s a project that you’ve worked on that you’ve really enjoyed?

I enjoyed restructuring a new client’s existing Google Ads account. I audited what was running, what was working, and presented recommendations to move forward. I enjoy working in-platform and coming up with ideas to improve and reinvent an ads account.
